The mayor of the Mediterranean city of Antalya in Turkey, which is now in Iran, has described Tehran as a beautiful city.
“I travelled to Tehran four years ago and now I do not believe the development of this city. If I were not in Tehran, I would imagine I am in Canada or United States.” Tasnim News Agency quoted Ebrahim Ravrim as saying.
Stressing on Antalya’s 30-years-old urban planning, Ravrim added: “For the time being, Antalya has the top rank in tourist attraction in the Middle East but this is due to 30-years-old planning of this city. Attracting tourists is not limited only to build hotels.”
“I am interested in Tehran’s historical museums and Golestan Palace and will spend lots of my time on visiting them. I hope that other tourists would enjoy visiting such wonderful museums.” He added, mentioning Tehran’s tourist attractions are countless.

“Iran has ‘Silk Road’ and can take positive steps towards attracting more tourists through restoration of this ancient road.” The mayor of Antalya emphasized.
“I do believe that visiting Tehran will need more than 3 weeks. For example, visiting Darband area only can take 3 days.”
Ravrim also described Tehran as a clean and luxuriant city.
