Fascinated by the rich Iranian history and culture, a former international soccer player Edgar Davids has said he likes to travel someday to Hamadan city in western Iran with his family.
In an interview with Iranian media before a charity match on last Friday at Tehran’s Azadi stadium, Davids spoke of his interest in Iran.
Here is an excerpt from the speech he gave on Iran:
”It was the first time that I came to Iran.”
”Since the past, I had an picture of Iran in my mind and I think Persian is a beautiful language”
”Of course, I had seen pictures of Iran’s cities and it prompted me to come to your country”
”Now I feel very well and very happy.”
”Iran has a rich history and i was interested to visit Iran.”
”I enjoyed the trip to Iran and I’m going to travel someday to Hamadan city with my family.”
