Designer of Khayyam Tomb Passed Away

Houshang Seyhoun, an #Iranian architect, sculptor, painter, scholar and professor, passed away at the age of 94 yesterday.

He was considered as the first Iran’s modern #architect, passing it from generation to the next during 40s and 50s.

Designing of Khayyam, Kamal-ol-molk, Avicina, Nader Shah, Colonel Mohammad Taqi-Khan Pessian, and many others tombs as well as Tus Museum and Sepah Bank Buildings are some his works which have built an international reputation for this great Iranian architect.
