Argentinian soccer legend , Diego Maradona, is scheduled to visit Iran due to the film named as “I am Diego Maradona”.
The family drama, Man Diego Maradona Hastam (I Am Diego) produced by Javad Noruzbeigi started screening on silver screens of 400 theaters across Iran on Wednesday.
Directed and scripted by Bahram Tavakoli, I Am Diego is about the domestic problems of two married sisters coming from two different social and economic levels.
The 2015 film garnered 11 nominations at the 33rd Fajr Film Festival, Iran’s most important film gala, and won two Simorghs for best supporting actor, Hooman Seyyedi and best sound recorder, Mahmud Sammakbashi.
Music for this film was written by Hamed Sabet and the film stars Golab Adineh, Saeed Aghakhani, Vishka Asayesh and a bunch of other actors.
