A German company operating luxury tourist train “One Thousand and One Nights” is going to launch a special tourist train only for travelling in Iran.
The company currently deals with unique travels by train and by sea in Africa, Asia, and Europe Continents.
Maybe this train was not as luxurious as the Golden Eagle but the passengers were truly satisfied with their recent travel to Iran.
The train arrived in Zanjan province in northwestern Iran last week from Turkish-Iranian border. “One Thousand and One Nights” started its journey from Istanbul, Turkey and before departure to Tehran, it traveled to Zanjan, Yazd, Shiraz and Isfahan cities in Iran.
The German company is now willing to launch a special train just for travelling in Iran due to its passengers’ contentment.
A company representative, Frank Niggeman, said: “We would like to develop tourism in Iran, but due to some reasons we are able to visit Iran just twice a year (in spring and fall).”
“We try to put more cities such as Mashhad and Kerman on the list. So, we launch a special train just for Iran.” He added.
“Passengers are truly satisfied, but they unfortunately have had some negative viewpoints towards Iran (adopted from western media) but when they see Iranian hospitality, such a viewpoint would be vanished.” He mentioned.
Frank Niggeman said “Our plan is to open new horizons to the world’s people just to see Iran as what it is.”
The luxury train costs €4300 to €7000 per person.
