Iran holds a top rank among world powers in the field of producing handicrafts, Iran’s Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization Masoud Soltanifar said on Sunday.
“Iran is generally among three world powers in the field of handicrafts.” Soltanifar told in a ceremony to unveil the two works of Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian.
He added: “With 11 thousand years of history and civilization, Iran has always been great, superpower, and determinative in the world.”
Considering Iran as a cradle of science, culture, and literature over the history, Soltanifar regarded the country as a place for the world’s top intellectuals and artists.
Iran’s Vice-President underscored that Iranian historical monuments are not only found inside the country but also in the whole area of the Middle East and Eastern Asia.
“The doctrine of Rouhani Administration is based on wisdom, prudence, interaction, and a constructive dialogue with all countries. I hope that due to such an approach, Iran would regain its original place in the field of science, literary, and art by using its rich and enormous potentials.” He mentioned.
“In the field of art, Iran has some dazzling diamond solitaires like Mahmoud Farshchian and our duty is to pave the way for the emergence of such genius.” Soltanifar said.
Iran’s Vice-President stated that Rouhani Administration is determined to make a safe milieu for artists to show their talents and potentials and represent the grandeur of Iranians to the world.
Two exquisite works of Master Farshchian, called “Aseman-e-Chaharom” (The Fourth Heaven) and “Sham-e-Ghariban” (The Night of the Dispossessed), were unveiled on Sunday in Tehran’s Sa’dabad Palace attended by Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and other political and officials.
