Coinciding with the International Day of Peace and the opening of the United Nations General Assembly on September 21, Iranian cultural and artistic officials launched the ‘National peace campaign’.
The campaign began on Tuesday at the Tehran’s ECO Cultural Institution in a ceremony attended by actress Mahtab Karamati, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Iran.
The event also saw the unveiling of the new work of Iranian veteran artist, Mahmoud Farshchian called ‘Praying for Peace’.
