The ceremony to commemorate the World Crafts Day was held yesterday in Tehran attended by Iranian Vice-President Eshagh Jahangiri.
Many local artists and producers were awarded during the ceremony.
It should be remembered that in the history of civilization, Iran has played one of the starring roles, not only because of its geography at the crossroads of many empires and its ancient and largely uninterrupted history to the modern day, but also because it is a dynamic, multicultural civilization that has produced some of the world’s most outstanding art.
