Iranian Foods Drive German Tourists Crazy

A group of German tourists who visited Iran this week called Persian food the most excellent and delicious one in the Middle East after tasting some of them.

ISNA News Agency reported that 34 German tourists on board a charter plane arrived in Iran earlier this week for a 4-day tour.

Before coming to Iran, the tourists sojourned in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and then travelled to the holy city of Mashhad in north east of Iran as their first destination in the country.

The airplane travelled Mashhad from Uzbekistan’s Samarkand and their next destination was Isfahan. They spent two days in Isfahan, wandering around the city to eat out in different restaurants of this amazing city.

German tourists found an opportunity to taste any food that others can do less.

Despite tasting a few Iranian foods such as Albaloo Polow, Khoresht-E Bademjan, and Fesenjān for the first time, the tourists found Persian food as the most delicious one in the Middle East as well as in the countries they had visited during their adventurous tour.

Shiraz was the final leg of the tour. They visited Persepolis and the Safavid-era Delgosha Garden of the city

The Germans left Iran to Armenia on Wednesday.
