A high-ranking Belgian delegation headed by President of Belgian Senate Christine Defraigne visited monuments of the historic city of Isfahan in central Iran on Thursday.
Defraigne arrived in Tehran on Wednesday morning at the invitation of Iran’ Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.
She, then, travelled to central Iran to visit historical sites and attractions of Isfahan and Kashan.
The Belgian parliamentary delegation are to meet with Iranian senior officials during their 5-day stay in Iran.
The Belgian Senator and her accompanying delegation also met with Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi on Wednesday.
