Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has extended his felicitations to the heads of states and the people of Muslim countries on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
“As auspiciously as possible, I congratulate all Muslim countries, government and people for upcoming Eid al-Fitr, the feast of forgiveness and grace.” President Rouhani said in a message on Monaday.
Rouhani added that unfortunately in a current Ramadan which is the month of peace and mercy, Muslims are witnessed the barbaric attacks of the Israel against defenseless and innocent Gazans, and terrorist attacks in Iraq and Syria.
President expressed hope that unity among all Muslims would be further strengthened on the basis of Islamic teachings, spirituality, moderation, wisdom and the establishment of lasting peace and security.
He wished the leaders and nations of all Muslim countries well being, prosperity and success.
The conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan culminates in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which is one of the main Muslim holidays.
