President Rouhani to visit France end January

French President Francois Hollande said on Friday that he would host his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani at the end of January after an earlier visit was postponed, Reuters reported.

Rouhani was due to visit France in late November but put off the trip following the Nov. 13 Islamic State-claimed attacks in Paris that left 130 people dead.

‎Rouhani, then, strongly condemned deadly attacks in ‪‎Paris‬, branding them “crimes against humanity” in a message to his French counterpart Francois ‪‎Hollande.

“In the name of the Iranian people, who have themselves been victims of terrorism, I strongly condemn these crimes against humanity and offer my ‪condolences‬ to the grieving French people …and government,” Rouhani wrote on his twitter account.
