Tunisian Ambassador to Tehran “Ghazi bin Saleh” stressed in a meeting with a senior official at the Iranian Foreign Ministry that the relations between Tunisia and Iran will still continue as in the past.
A senior official at the Iranian Foreign Ministry told Iranalyaum news website, citing Tunisian Ambassador to Tehran, that Tunisia is not going to reduce the level of relations with Iran.
The official added that relations between Tunisia and Iran will continue as in the past, stressing that the news on this issue is only rumors fabricated by Saudi under-controlled media.
Saudi media previously claimed about cutting the Tunisian-Iranian relations.
It is noteworthy that contrary to Saudi media reports, Jordan has also not cut diplomatic ties with Iran.
